Ex Nihilo
Project: Short Film
Agency: Phi.Studio
Role: Creative & Art Direction, Animation, Filming
In this film, small mundane moments are transformed into something strange and unknown. Corn flour becomes a non-Newtonian fluid; bubbles in oil demonstrate cellular division, while chunks of ice are transformed into gas giants serenely floating in Space. This self initiated film is based upon a lecture given by the physicist Lawrence Krauss and concerns new discoveries in cosmology, and why it is possible that a universe can be born from nothing.
